The project
After the success of the first edition, the Accademia dei Maestri del Lievito Madre e del Panettone Italiano is organizing the second edition of the Panettone World Championship for Teams, which will see 12 teams of masters from 12 different countries compete.
The Panettone World Championship was created with the aim of making the excellence of artisanal Panettone known internationally by comparing the different cultures of those who produce this dessert starting exclusively from mother yeast, the true identifying and characteristic factor of each territory.
This is the only team championship in the world, with products made "live", respecting the strict competition rules and under the watchful eyes of the inspectors. In support of the commissioners' activity, the activity in the laboratories is filmed live by cameras 24 hours a day.
